Who am I?
My name is Dominik Hrehorowicz. I'm an oceanographer by both profession and passion. Over 6 years of professional work I gained experience on the seas and oceans of both hemispheres, cooperating with marine and seismic crews from many countries.
Everything I do, I do the best.
All my operations comply with the directives in force in the specific country and with the regulations set forth in the documents drawn for the project. I am responsible for assuring that all procedures specified in the regulations are complied with throughout the whole project.

Marine Mammal Observer/PAM operator on Sanco Swift for PGS (offshore Mauritania)
On the board of Sanco Swift as a MMO my duty was to conduct visual observations of marine mammals and sea turtles according to JNCC guidelines and established environmental management plan, repoting and making photographic documentation.
As PAM operator was responsible for conducting PAM monitoring.

On board Shark 1, during Nearshore Geotechnical Survey my main duty was to conducting visual observations of marine mammals, working with JNCC guidelines.

Marine Mammal and Seabirds Observer/PAM Operator on Akademik Lazarev for TGS (Greenland Sea)
On the board of Akademik Lazarev as a MMSO my duty was to conduct visual observations of marine mammals and marine birds according to DCE guidelines and established EMA, proper co-operation with PAM operator and both seismic and marine crew. I was also responsible for preparing reports.
As a PAM operator and I was responsible for setting up the equipment, conducting PAM monitoring, preparing reports and deploying and picking up a PAM cable.

Environmentalist
Maritime Institute in Gdansk
As an Environmentalist, my main duty was to collect and analyse macrozoobenthos samples. Samples were collected during scientific surveys, according to HELCOM guidelines for benthic habitat monitoring in the Baltic Sea.

As PAM operator I was supporting chief PAM operator and I was responsible for deploying and picking up PAM cable if needed.

Lead Marine Mammal Observer on ORP Sniardwy for Maritime Office in Gdynia (Baltic Sea)
Observation of legally protected species during activities related to the deliberate frightening and disturbance of animals due to the explosive disposal of residual war weapons in the area of the port of Gdynia, as well as the preparation of the summary report commissioned by the Maritime Office.

On the board of Akademik Shatskiy as a MMSO my duty was to conduct visual observations of marine mammals and marine birds according to DCE guidelines and established EMA.
As a Lead MMSO I was responsible for supervision of MMO team, proper co-operation with PAM operator and both seismic and marine crew. I was also responsible for preparing all reports.
My PAM operator duties were limited to supporting chief PAM operator and deploying and picking up PAM cable if needed.

On board chase vessel GSP Perseu, during 2D and Analog Survey my main duty was to conduct visual observations of marine mammals, working with JNCC guidelines and established Environmental Risk Management.
